International Curriculum Advocating Tobacco Use Prevention

The tobacco use prevention curriculum we developed for WHO was pilot-tested in India, Ghana, Mexico, and Uruguay in 49 classrooms in 19 different schools. Teachers and students who used the curriculum report that they gained important information and awareness about tobacco, were very motivated by the interactive teaching methods, and were inspired to take actions to prevent tobacco addiction.
