U.S. Department of Education, Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools Responsible Hospitality (RH) programs have three goals: (1) to prevent illegal alcohol service to minors, (2) to reduce the likelihood of drinkers becoming intoxicated, and (3) to prevent those who are impaired from harming themselves or others. This four-page publication looks at key elements of successful RH, offers recommendations and resources for what campuses can do, and includes links to the RH programs at 11 campuses.
