Pandemic Influenza

When H1N1 flu was first diagnosed in Mexico in 2009, it didn’t take long before it spread globally. In response, HHD began working with the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization to develop critical resources that strengthen the capacities of communities around the world to prevent and respond to the threat of influenza.

In our role as a World Health Organization Collaborating Center, HHD draws on the best researchers and channels to reach people worldwide. Highlights of Our Work offers examples of the materials HHD has developed.
