Improving School Health in Germany

HHD is a partner in the Alliance for Sustainable School Health and Education in Germany (Anschub.de). Anschub.de aims to improve the quality of schools and education by better coordinating resources and ensuring that new and sustained efforts aim to promote health at all levels of a school. HHD assisted with identifying partnerships and providing evaluation. We have also contributed expertise at two annual Anschub.de school meetings, which brought together schools from three different states in Germany; and we have developed an advocacy tool that will become part of Anschub.de coordinators’ handbooks.
