Middle East

Over the past several years, HHD has begun to concentrate efforts on healthy human development in the Middle East. We are partnering with the Universal Education Foundation to address the well-being and education of young people, especially in Palestine.

In addition, with the World Health Organization’s regional office in the Middle East, HHD has worked with numerous countries in the area documenting their experiences fostering the health of students and staff in schools. We hope these initial efforts will expand, enabling us to promote health among the population as a whole in the region, while also addressing the needs of people who experience disparities in health.
